17' GMC LED Light Bars ideas

I am looking for some ideas of how guy's are mounting light bars on 17' GMC Sierra's. With the louvers behind the grill makes it tough. Thinking of under the license plate.

Take a look at the Baja designs S2. It's very small. I have 4 mounted on my 2014 behind the grill.

I have a '17 Silverado with the active grill shutters and haven't seen any way of adding a light bar behind the grill. A few bumper mount options from N-Fab but worried about theft having it so low.

I'd be curious as to removing the bottom louver and mounting one behind the grill that way.

 

They are only for increasing mileage...

I'm not too familiar with the shutters behind the grill now, but on my truck I opted for 4 LED pod lights instead of the usual light bar. Would something like that be possible? Or even the SR-M2 LED lights from Rigid Industries, as they are narrower.

Good idea 1990dtgl98, didn't think about removing any of the louvers. I'll have to take a look.

just a thought for you, before you spend money. I wanted a lightbar so bad. I installed the curved light bar behind the grille in my Z71. At first I thought it was so awesome, but very rarely used it. At this point I pretty much never use it, looks cool in there but kind of useless in my opinion unless you do night time off road driving.

 

However I did replace my stock bulbs and fog light bulbs with LED's and that was a huge improvement I can enjoy daily.
