1500 vs 1500HD Grill Guard

Anybody have any info on the grill guard fitment? I have a 1500HD but the grill guard im wanting to buy is currently on the same bodystyle truck but its a 1500. From what i can tell the bumpers look identical. What about the actual mounts?

I believe the 1500 and 1500hd share the same frame, but they have different axles and possibly motor could be different. But I'm not 100% on that.

1500HD uses the 2500/2500HD front frame section so its taller than a 1500 frame. I would find out the brand of the guard and consult the manufacturer.
