Scott if you want things done properly and working right hit up Phil. Consensus on forum is he is a straight shooter and knows how to make tow mirrors functional whether OE or aftermarket.

Hi. I have a 2018 GMC Sierra SLT with power folding mirrors, turn signal (in the mirror) and puddle light. I want to upgrade to towing mirrors which I found at A1 Auto parts. The stock number for the mirrors is #1AMRP01790, made by Ridge Way, with puddle light. It appears from this thread, and others, that the mirrors are not plug and play, but will have to modified the wiring harness to make everything work as required. My question is: is there an after market wiring harness that can be bought to make this up grade "plug n play"?

I’ve been looking at a set of the Boost Auto with the clear white strip for running and the switchback option to change to amber for signal along with power fold and defrost both mirrors. but, having no one here mention this mirror, makes me think there is a reason.
