Hello all

Just bought a 2014 Silverado LT Crew long box 5.3 yesterday and am so far really liking the truck...

I'm a Mopar guy at heart, but have read a lot of good things about the Silverado and came across one that fit my needs, so I jumped on it.

I am a big contributor over on a Durango forum (not sure I can post link) but I am excited to be a part of the GM crowd and become a contributing member here as well.

I have a lot of little things in mind for this truck (mudflaps, possible topper, aux. lighting, leather/heat install...) I did a full 3 row leather/heat seat install on my Durango and am looking forward to doing the same with this one here soon!

Welcome! You'll find your problems with the trucks as many have with other manufacturers, but out of all the trucks I've owned, which have been various brands, I've always loved my silverados most. You'll find plenty of good information here. Dig around, if you have any questions l, we do the best we can.

Welcome! Pics are probably too big and need to be resized under 1mb. Heated seat conversion? Sounds great and just in time for winter!

I have a neighbor with one of those Mopar things and it's probably 6-8 months old, maybe........The guy really likes it and keeps it clean and tidy!

I drive by it everyday and look at the passenger side and drivers side window molding all Goofy. and the plastic caps on bed rails all warped and coming up after 6-8 months of hard use.

Dude, looks at me everyday and says, "there goes that fag in his CHEBBY/GMC same crap thing" Little does he know that the Chebby has it's faults but still will be sailing long after his Mopar has been traded away. Rule #1, the Chebby;s run way longer than the FERDS, Mopar's. Rule #2 stay away from the MOPAR's and the Ferds....

Funny

but in all seriousness... I love my D Durango... its been 100% trouble free and I would up and drive it to Alaska and back tonight if I had to with no worries of failing me..

I really do hope this Silverado will treat me the same... and I think it will! I hear a lot of good things about them!
