05 Suburban, P0455, P0446, Hard to re-fuel

My son in law called with a problem on his 05 Suburban. Says its very hard to refuel, the pump keeps kicking off. He said its been doing it for several months now. I had him to get the trouble codes ran and it is showing P0455 and P0446. He also stated that he had changed the charcoal canister about a year ago with a used one. He said he checked to make sure it wasn't clogged up and causing the issue, so he blew it out with compressed air... He said charcoal "dust" came flying out.

Need to check the evap purge canister solenoid valve. Make sure the solenoid is coming on. Take spare tire down and unplug the connector at solenoid and put 12v and ground to it and see if it clicks. No click replace. Have to get the harness jumper for new part cause it's a different plug.

You can blow the charcoal canister all you want, but when it's plugged it's plugged. In my experience, it's really easy to put in the new canister, and the solenoid with the remote filter.
