dynoray Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 hey, does any one have pics of their Hd with the valance cut out for the plow mount and or the Boss valance? thanks
sillywillie07 Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 boss makes a replacment valance that is molded around there plow frame
dynoray Posted January 13, 2018 Author Posted January 13, 2018 ok,thanks anyone with a chevy HD? pics and the Boss valance pic or just the stock valance cut out.
XSKIER Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 I have the boss valance on on my silveraydo. I don't have a good pic of it to share except for this one. I think most guys will just hack the original one because of the extra labor it takes to install the boss piece.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
dynoray Posted January 14, 2018 Author Posted January 14, 2018 ok,thanks for that. wow you have to take off the whole front to do the plow frame?
XSKIER Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 No, the frame goes right on. The rad cover, grille, headlights, and bumper have to come off to change the valance. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
newdude Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Member revrnd I believe has one on his regular cab HD but no plow, just the valance: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/208182-factory-winter-grill-cover-install/?tab=comments#comment-2067773 Look down where the red tow hooks are.

Cosmic Charlie Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 just asking - Does that Low Clearance stay on the truck year round ?
XSKIER Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I suppose that it would not be too hard to take off the BOSS push bar to give the appearance of more ground clearance. The truth is though, that it really is only about a quarter inch lower than the front lower control arm crossmember. Mine will stay on for as long as I own it. Since I have the Z71 package, I will be alright in off-road situations. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
