What wrong? What facts?

Your "facts" are subjective, just like naming of a capability of a tire is subjective and why there is such a large spread of tires abilities in tire categories. They weren't wrong, it clearly says on the goodyear site the wrangler tire line offers all terrain traction and toughness. You received tires that can leave the pavement, they don't have to excel by any means but just be able to. They are able to go down dirt roads, they are able to drive over some rocks and traverse some mud and snow (hence the M&S symbol). Not sure what you are trying to get, you knew what you were getting before you got it and you got the value they provided at $200. If you didn't want those tires you could have found another truck or negotiated prior to picking it up, instead you are whining after the fact. If they were that unsatisfactory to you then you should have not accepted the truck...

So much entitlement in this thread it is comical.

Tyler

lol

They were given the opportunity to provide to me, in writing, their definition of what all- terrain tires are and they didn’t/couldn’t.  That could have resolved it right there.  So, I’m going by Goodyear’s definition for the SR-A...you know, the ones that actually make the tire?  Yeah, those guys.

And whining?  Really?  I asked a question and am looking to get what I paid for, no more, no less.  Didn’t once complain, simply looking for others’ experience.

If you followed the thread, you would have seen that I negotiated an agreement to resolve this prior to delivery and at this point, it’s been resolved satisfactorily.

Good effort though keyboard commando, just came up a little short. :seeya:

If you want an aggressive tire from the factory, you need the All Terrain X package, or on Chevy the Midnight Z71.  Those get 265/65/18 Duratracs.

Yes, My Z71 midnight came equipped with the Duratracs. The tire price is not listed individually on the sticker. It's listed under the $1850 midnight option on the sticker along with the rest of the stuff that's included in the midnight package.

It's a Chevy vs. GMC thing, the way they set things up. My Z71 came equipped with "All Terrain" tires as part of the package. Non Z71 gets "All Season" tires. In my case the AT tires are Fortitude HT 18". 20" would have been SRA. GMC does things differently apparently, charging for the tires which come with the off road package. This is OP's problem, being charged $200 for tires which only GM regards (questionably) as AT.

My Sierra z71 came with Bridgestone duelers on off road tires and the silverado I looked at was not even a z71 and it had the exact same tires. Both $200 dollar charge. So not a chevy/ GMC thing.

I'm guessing things change from year to year.

Sorry for delay on this, I wanted to get everything set in writing first so it was official.  As a “goodwill gesture” I was provided a year of OnStar and a $500 voucher for accessories from GM.

Good deal for you. Terrible and potentially costly precedent for GM. Odd they didn't go for non-disclosure.
