On a school night a teenage boy arrives home after school at about 7 pm and encounters his father in the kitchen. Dad: son, where have you been? You missed supper and your mother was not one bit happy!  Son: well Dad I was hanging out with Jessica. Dad: son, what were you doing with Jessica that was so important that you had to miss supper and get your mother so upset? Son: oh you know Dad, we were just studying. In the meantime the the teenage boy spies what he assumes are leftovers from the nights meal and pops some in his mouth. After he is done chewing, the boy says: "Dad would you tell Mom for me these fishcakes are delicious!" With a sigh, Dad says: "Son, you might want to wash your hands, those are doughnuts".
