MitchWI Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Interesting... I just dropped my 2015 6.2L off at the dealer. Reported as a broken push rod... Sounds like it not common but definitely an issue with something on some trucks. Damn it anyhow

Getting harder to own a Chevy or really any car these days. I wouldn't be too upset about the whole situation. This means: - You now have a truck with a brand new, 0 mileage engine. Like starting off fresh again - Get a month to put mile/wear/tear on someone else's vehicle Could be a lot worse...like happening out of warranty.

New engine failed (cam gear, oil pump, etc..) after roughly 10 days. Truck stopped running on freeway in rush hour one morning, last straw for me. Think dealer did something on installation of new engine. Long story short, truck was bought back, and I am now in a 2018 Centennial. So far, so good, now have had a 14, 16 and now a 18. Think I will get license plate, 3ANFNL1, (for this body style).

Chevy (and dealership) have taken care of the luck on getting new trucks. 14 was a trade allowance on the 16, then the 16 was a full blown buyback to get me into the 18. They have been awesome standing behind these trucks.
