I have tried a few LED bulbs and the output isn't right in the reflector housings (which is what I expected).

I also know all about the Morimoto replacements and have been considering them but I found these and was wondering if anybody tried them yet:

I’ve got the Opt 7 Cree LED dogs in my Sierra and LOVE them. Not sure how they’d work in a Silverado though.

hows the pattern?? what I liked about the Morimotos was the nice cut off

They are bright and the pattern is wide and far. I keep them on all the time. When leaving somewhere at night and headlights are too bright, say a drive in, the fogs are perfect.

I have HIDs in mine currently but one of my housings got moisture in it.  Ill pop that plug off and do a side by side.  maybe i can get my brothers drone out to get an aerial shot lol

seems like LED fogs are hit n miss. The OPT 7 Flux seemed to have a good pattern. I like Rigid but don't like the idea of cutting to install em

I have thought about switching the fog lights on my 2012 to LED's for quite a while.

The OPT7  CREE V2 have LED's on all sides of the bulb.

I think this is more like a stock incandescent bulb which throws a light pattern in a circle.

The VLED's are twice as much, no circular output.

I might go with the OPT7.

:)
