It's interesting they say Made in China.  One of our accounts is the Douglas Corp in Minnesota and I was just there last week.  Pallet loads of GMC and Chevy bowtie emblems that I assume (due to their size) are for pickup trucks.  They manufacture and chrome plate a very very large amount of emblems for most of the auto manufactures right here in the US.  It would be odd that the 6.2 emblem is made in China, but others here.

Got a second set from GM parts direct and they are exactly the same with same sticker. Made in China. The emblems are plastic chrome.

I did 8” from back of hood to emblem foam. 

 

You can reposition with a plastic pry tool. 

 

Emblems are slanted, thicker at top, thinner at bottom.

Get some V6 badges on it then go shock some pony-car owners. Sleeper style.

Also how did you remove the Z71 Emblem, adhesive or clip?

i bought a piece of black modeling plastic and cut it to the shape and used it as a backing plate, and mounted the 6.2L to that
