good morning . I just changed over from my summer wheels.  back to stock for winter. the reset tool that I used to reprogram 18 inch fuel rims for summer driving .will not wake up the 17 inch stock tires. any suggestions the reset tool is a ,ateq purchased off amazon . it states that it is compatible with a 2016 Chevy Silverado. I would hate to have to buy another re programmer .

Deal did mine for free. But also bell tire and discount tire have the tool. You can also do it manually in a few minutes with no tools.

amazon web page states that it go's to 2013  my truck is a 2016. I bought the ateq reset activation tool $139.00 from amazon . it re learned my new fuel rims but not my stock. but it says that it will in the description on web page .

I have the Orange tool that I linked.  I got it from GM Special Tools under the EL-50448 number, and I've had it for 6 years.  I can use it on 2018 trucks at work here no issue.  Works on my 2016 Colorado too.

I bought this one for my '16, worked like a charm.  Just have to aim it in the right place, at the tire above the valve.
