Pumping gas in my '18 SLT

It’s a venting issue.  Some K2s were also having the issue.  The fix was a new fuel tank.

Does anyone else hate pumping gas in their trucks? I don't know why but I can never set the auto switch on the pump and it STAY PUMPING. As soon as the pump gets fully rolling it shuts off. I've tried every angle and depth but it seems to always shut off. What a PITA. 
 

I agree, I have only filled up twice but have had to constantly fiddle with the pump to get it to function.

Only had an issue at one gas station. Otherwise I just put it in there, drop the lever, and lean against the truck until it’s done.

On a standard size gasoline nozzle, you can manually open it wide open and wedge your gas cap under the handle, fits like it was meant to do that. They are all still auto-kick off nozzles so you wont spill everywhere. Works nice in -30f. 

 

Great to know that, I will have to remember that trick next time I fill up in the freezing cold. Thanks!!
