I have a 2018 Silverado 2wd, I’m wanting to lower the truck just a bit my question is lower the rear 3” only, or should I go with a combo drop like 2-3, 2-4, 3-4, 3-5! I don’t want a huge drop just something to look better then stock. And what ever drop I go with do I get new shocks for a lowered truck or just stock shocks!!!!!! I’m blowing my head up trying to figure out which way to go! I need help

It is a crew cab, 3-5 would be a good way to go! What’s the best kit you would do for a smooth ride?

What nasty said. 3-5 here but I have 24". I have the bell tech kit that is adjustable and any kit that part number ends in sp has shocks. Rides great. I have a bag to help it is NOT needed but again i have huge wheels no overload leaf and need to tow. What to say I paid 800ish for it. Buy the camber cam platea also it's worth it and cheaper now then down the road. Enjoyd76487b59ef24681be9fc99075ce62b9.jpg

I went with the Belltech kit and went 3-5 on my reg cab. I think the ride is a little rougher in the back with the Belltech shocks so I am looking for a replacement shock.

What shocks do you have

I have the Belltech sports. Which Viking shocks? Never heard of them.

Belltech sp is to stiff for a regular cab

I looked at the Vikings and they be a little more than I need for my DD. Anyone else have any recommendations?

Why are they more than you need

For a daily driver that will never see the track,  I don't need that much shock. Just looking for a little softer ride.

Mine wont ever see a track and i have qa1 single adjustables.  Ill be switching to viking double adjuatables soon.   They aren't "track shocks" but if it makes the ride better for something you drive everyday then i dont see why nothing

Pretty sure the st709 but you have to do a little grinding on the mount. Just shave off an 1/8th so the shock body doesnt make contact. But im lowered so that number would be to short
