Weird noise

Does anybody experience the same problem , or has experienced this in the past. I recently just bought this vehicle no check engine lights or anything. The sound came about when it rained the night prior to the sound, drove the truck somewhere and parked for a while. Walking back I heard a weird sound didn’t know what it was, it was easily heard from 40 feet away found out it was coming from my truck. The truck wasn’t even turned on, just somehow made a lot of noise and wasn’t able to locate the noise.

Don’t know how to even type the sound out, it sounded like if a truck could fart, a rattle to it

Electric fan? I know it can run with car off and locked in some cases, and if there is a bearing going bad or something caught in it.... Just a guess on listening.

You think it could be a catalytic converter, had a issue with one and they got it “fixed” but it the sound only happened for a couple hours and stop and so far since then nothing.
