Nope no wind noise. Honestly not sure how much it actually deflects, I did it more to protect the leading edge of the hood, cause it got 2 pretty big rock chips.  Should have got the 3m film but I never thought about it until i noticed the chips on the hood and bumper.  I know they sell a new style one that has a lip on the back.  That being said I don't have any chips on the hood behind the deflector so maybe it does help.

Thats the answer I was looking for.

I just want it for rock chips too. I don't care if it actually deflects bugs because I already know it won't.

I just ordered two color matched Aeroskins. A Silver Ice Metallic and a Black one.The Smoke ones were $51 the color matched were $123 on Amazon. To me the trucks will look so much better with the color matched version so it's worth it to me. Looks like you need 4 hands to install it though because of the 3M tape

Yes, just a color matched aeroskin, it blends into the front end very well.

i just liked it because it was similar in texture (a little more) to the wheel well trim and rear bumper step.
