Recently bought a 2019 High Country 4x4 and I'm looking to upgrade tires/level truck. I was set on the 2" RC leveling kit (link below) until I saw this thread. I don't want to add too much lift in the front, but also don't want to add too little. I don't plan to add anything in the rear and hope to run a 285/65/20 tire. Has anyone else added 1.5" or 2" to a High Country?

Will the leveling kit void your warranty on your truck?

Quick answer is no, but they can void an item like you ball joint, or other associated suspension part if they want, but warranty as a whole no.

For reference, here's before and after on my Denali.  Added 22x9.5 Mayhem Crossfire wheels because I hated stock Denali wheels and 33x12.50 Toyo AT2 because the Bridgestone A/Ts are junk.  Perfect fitment, no rub.

Do you still happen to have your Denali wheels and are they for sale? Please PM me if so.

Looks good.. I have mine on the way, 1.5" motofab. I was going to purchase ready lift 2" but I read it is like 2.25" so wanted to start more conservative. I'll have it installed in the next week or so..
To the OP... Did you align your truck after this leveling kit?

Did this level kit cause your cv boot to rub on the shock like one poster in this thread claims?

No it did not, I had no issues with that kit, I ran it for about 6,000 miles before I took them out because I lifted the truck.

I added the 1.5" top spacer after the 1.5" bottom spacer was pushing shock mount into cv boot.  After about a year the back started sagging and ended up about .5" lower than the front.  I just added a 1" rear spacer over the weekend.

I did the rough country 2 in lifted strut level and while it rides great I still feel I’m a half inch high in the rear. Pondering trying to put a spacer on top to give me the half inch or not. running 20x10 Arkon ceasar -25 with 33 kenda tires.
