P0300

Most times a 300 is set,low fuel pressure,intake air leak or they go stupid and need a relearn,it is a valuable code,it's a incomplete burn, random in the cylinders,so you are clogging your cats,slowly

Ok. First don't buy or do anything before having the vehicle properly diagnosed. No reason to throw money out the door. A 300 is an engine misfire. Not a specific cylinder misfire code. This could be MANY different things. DON'T just guess and throw parts at it. If you don't know how to properly diagnose this please take it to a tech who has the proper tools to do so. It could be as small as a #1 spark plug is fouled out because of oil pullover from the PCV. None of us here can test your vehicle to give you any idea of what it could be. So it is best for you to take this to a shop unless you have a scan tool which will show you which cylinder is skipping. In that case we can narrow it down. But if you don't, you're just wasting time and money.

I think I'll do that. I might test the fuel pressure this weekend tho.

Yep, cylinders not balanced,code is from crank sensor,so cheap and easy to do, fuel pressure test,intake gasket leak test,and some techron to clean injectors

New coil packs? Sounds like the parts cannon went full bore. Before you ever buy coil packs replace plugs. I had a Odyssey I worked on awhile back had the 300 plus 3 cylinder misfires. Replaced plugs and only 1 coil pack was bad. With coil packs it gets expensive if you use the if you replace one then replace them all method. Best thing for these vehicles is a clean fuel system, plugs changed when they're suppose to be and preventative maintenance such as oil changed regularly, air filters changed at proper intervals. We could go on and on but wanted to show that even if you have multiple misfires always check all the spark plugs first.

I change the plugs and wires first. Then a few months later I changed the coil packs..
