Ok.  I feel a road trip!  [emoji23]

Check out their Instagram or Facebook. Some pretty awesome builds and customers from all over the world. There was a container from Dubai with a corvette in it when I dropped my truck off.

What time frame did they give you from drop off to pick up?

They are running about 2-3 months behind in the shop now but when I did drop off it took them 3 days start to finish to get it done. I have another appointment in May to have the headers, cats ,smaller pulley and new tune done. Told me 2 days once I dropped it off.

Perhaps I missed it, apologies if I did...but what were the final tuned WHP/WTQ numbers?

With only the Whipple and tune the dyno said 523whp and 532wtq. They are doing it Kooks 1” 7/8 headers, Green Cats, smaller pulley and return on 5/29. Expected gains from those are 40-50 whp/tq. I’d ideally like it 570+ before going inside.

What was the boost at?
There are only about 6 shops in all of the US I would recommend and they are one, for anyone wondering.

8psi is what they told me. I dont have a boost gauge installed yet. They are adding one on 5/29. With the smaller pulley im thinking it'll bump it to 10psi? Whats your thoughts?

That is spot on with all the posted power numbers I have seen for years. And that's good also with stock heads. Boost number in itself isn't everything as better heads or cam that allow for more flow have less psi vs. Power level. But for stock your right on. The exhaust will help alot. I still question that cat back. Wasn't it like 2.5" single pipe?
After this I would enjoy for a while then think stall large pro billet with a higher stall.
Just got of the phone with circle d about them.
Watch your trans temps warmer weather and that down low torque with torque management reduced or off can cause heat. DeX VI is rated to 240* but in the articles I'm reading best to keep under 180* the Camaro guy all add a cooler but you just need a thermostat mod and you good.

I am also questioning the cat back. It’s single 2.5” into the muffler then splits into 2 pipes out the side. I am still getting that irritating whistle under full throttle as well. Since the new headers are going into 1 pipe like factory setup what do I need to do? I was going to take it to a local muffler shop that does good work and have them weld something custom. I still want it as quiet as I can get without losing power and to get rid of the whistle. Single all the way back with a conservative muffler? Split into 2 again but bigger pipes? I like the way it sounds now and I know I’ll gain noise with the headers but don’t want to yell inside the cab. Help me out [emoji4]

Depends on type vehicle and location. My favs are Katech, kurt urban, LME, Motorcity speed, there are some more cali and Florida shops I trust. Redline and Jason at J&J. Oh and almost forgot D&D.
Maybe missing a few. but what about fab work then that changes the list. There were shops that are the very biggest that are pure shittt. So best to get word of mouth.

I would get as big as possible and for noise get it out back. Two ways to do this. The cost effective big bank for buck is the magnaflow 1894318943-CG ($290)diesel catback then have shop convert over to the y pipe of the cat system. Best way is pick size and have a real fab shop tig in a system. You will want out back no dumps or under truck exits. Or I would say get boost activated cutouts. Other issue is material. I love 304 stainless and so does your fab man but it is louder till it warms up. I would call the minimum size 3" but the mufflers I would stay away from chambers. You need like a dyno max ultra flo. And you could always add a screw insert.
Again the custom is best and at that point he may talk you into a fab y.
But look at the pic of that kit you see it is all bolt up stuff and with a slip band clamp you can swap out mufflers fast and cheap. Maybe two 17223 style mufflers. Oh and they also offer it in black. 94f695d6eb1aae673668c0825dfc72a0.jpgc6e582ce2613edc6de06c5d742803f5f.jpg

Ok that sounds like a plan. I had those UltraFlos on my Challenger. I will have 3" welded in and use 2 of those instead of a chambered muffler. Thanks again for all your help
