I'm curious if the inserts are replaceable. I know I can buy a whole new grill, but I'm only looking to replace the broken mesh. I would even go with the straight bar looking inserts like the z71 and I'd like black if possible. Unfortunately thru all my searching I haven't been able to find just the inserts only a whole grill. My mesh broke due to some wood thrown up on the highway so seeing if anyone has any links to places for just the inserts80f8083d06698c61cd0e9b01fa0db96b.jpg

Just have to buy locally on Craigslist or the marketplace. They’re not sold separately. I’m in the same boat. I want the high country inserts to swap into my grille.

Yea I've been searching FB marketplace and cl. I see some on there but can't swallow 3-400 to replace the whole grill for a cracked mesh insert. Would love either of these 2 grills but just want something not broken. Lol.
Thanks for the link. I never saw this site. Definitely appreciate it

Might check with some local body shops to see if the have any broken grilles out back in the junk pile you could rob the honeycomb out of for a couple bucks.

I’ve got a chrome set of inserts (like in your first pic) that I’d be willing to get rid of. Just let me know.

I've got a set of the high country inserts.   I tried putting these in my 15 LTZ z71 grille and it did not line up right.   PM if interested

What year are the inserts from?

Does anyone know if this is doable on the 16 to 19 grille too? My lower insert is broken in one spot and if I could get away with just replacing that, that would be great.

My 2016 also has a crack on one part of the grill from something kicked up on the highway. Luckily nothing got broken off, just cracked. I had looked into replacing and seems like the entire grill would need to be replaced and that would be expensive. But I have seen "inserts" that are supposed to fit right over the existing grill. Much more economical but I have been too lazy to try as I'm the only one that knows where to look and see it. Here is just an example of one for the upper in black but chrome ones can be found as well. I'm not recommending this seller, just showing it to you.

    • Can ask that about a lot of places.   Holiday sells 91 for $1 over 87 octane. BP 93 is 80 cents. Amoco 93 is 80 cents Kwik Trips is $1.20 for 92 or whatever they have and $1 for the 91.   I know that this is not exactly same as what you are saying with the premium to premium debate of those two stations but why is there such a difference. Top Tier this and that, it's all BS. All the fuel comes from the same damn refinery, so give me a break.
    • Why does Mobil Premium cost 90 cents a gallon more than Shell Premium when their regular offerings are but pennies apart?
    • Was all the way down to $3.69 a gallon but then jumped back to $3.99 just because for some reason.   Diesel floats between $4.80's to $5.10ish a gallon. I even saw Diesel #1 for $6.09 today but nobody in there right mind even buys that in the summer.
    • Mine just keeps lagging or getting stuck on the reverse camera. When I turn off the truck, get out, and close the door it will still stay on. It’s very intermittent and I would not be able to duplicate the issue.
    • I was checking out fuel prices at my farm fuel retailer at their pumps and yes the farm price is a bit lower than the non dyed fuel and was glad to see that the regular farm gas price has dropped a lot from what it had been but what blew me away was the price of diesel as the spread now compared to before the prices went up earlier in the year, diesel was actually slightly lower than gas which was a switch from the theme the last number of years. However that sure isn't the theme lately and definitely not right now. The prices I will post are not from that retailer but just looking at gasbuddy for the main city in this area and instead of posting the lowest price someone found I will list the higher price ( and that may not be the highest price, just whatever someone posted on gasbuddy ).   So regular gas and there are a lot of stations listing the same price for regular is 1.68 a liter, premium 2.00 a liter. Diesel 2.03 a liter for a top price I saw on diesel.   Figures out to 6.36 a us gallon Canadian funds for regular and 7.68 for diesel. With the US exchange rate it would be 4.58 us for regular and 5.53 for diesel.    Thought I would figure that out to get a picture of what it settles out like compared to various US prices and its about the same as the current price in Fairbanks AK as Anchorage tends to be lower. So yes, these would be the prices and higher along the way on the Alaska highway where they know they have a captured market !, for fuel prices for those beginning the long drive back to the lower 48   The problem is our Canadian dollar and going to the states that have the high prices, boy do we pay then !
