So I replaced the door speakers and added an amp to power them. But as a common problem I’ve been reading is the door chimes and turn signal gets amplified. To remedy this problem I just used the rear speakers as the input for the amp which created the problem of not having any Bluetooth audio while talking on the phone through the truck. My idea to fix this is to take the front speakers from the radio and splice them into the dash speakers. This would mean that the dash speakers are not amplified but will retain the chimes and Bluetooth audio. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I will try to tackle this problem this week and let everyone know if it works.

LLJ Customs car audio makes a bunch of different harnesses for all these issues letting you bypass them. Check out their page.

Just in case someone looks at this thread using the stock dash speakers and not amplifing them and then replacing the door speaker and using the rears as the input for the amp then amplify the door speakers. Works great sounds great and retains the door and turn signal chimes and Bluetooth phone use.

Yeah, kinda similar here with them... but I found this on crutchfield... I ordered it for that price, why not, will see how it works, if I ever get around to hooking my amp again...

Guess it's common for them to not respond. Emailed twice in 2 weeks no response. Guess I'll take business elsewhere

Damn glad I came across this. I was considering trying to get a harness from them. I think I get the PAC one. I was just curious if it's the one I need to plug into the Bose amp so I can add an Audio Control LC2I for my sub amp. If anyone has already done this please share. I've always paid to have my stuff done but I could do it myself just always pressed for time. I wish there were someone that would do a DIY amp harness. I've seen some using like 3 different harnesses from Metra. That and DIY 3"-4" seat lift kit. Haven't decided which yet. I'll be a muhfuh if I pay $175 for some steel brackets from LMI or anyone. I'm going to log my build so hopefully it'll help someone.
