I based that number from their website. Neat that you payed less.

Still a part not worth buying in my opinion. The claim that a MAF sensor alone with nothing else done can improve mileage, power and whatever else is snake oil to me. Hell a new OEM MAF sensor could bring you gains if the one you had was faulty but to say this new performance MAF is better than the OEM that spent billions to get to this point is where I question it.

If you really think it's running rich or something is wrong. Do actual homework to see if that is true. Any decent handheld scanner with live data will give you the information you want. Read the fuel trims, some may even read the alcohol content if the truck was factory equipped with flex fuel. If the long term trims are within 5% of zero, it's not running rich.

Are you the original owner? If not, perhaps the previous owner had one on there and tuned it then put the stock intake back on when they sold/traded it in.

Then your testing methods were bad. Period. Your truck as a MAP, MAF and O2 sensors. The ECU simply adjusts the pulse width of the injectors to keep your A/F ratio it is tuned to based on air coming in. Even with a huge restriction, the throttle would simply open bigger and same A/F ratio would be maintained, using the same fuel.

Please explain how your intake magically changes this.
