Just got off the phone with Michael Valle (Service Manager) at Gunn GMC/Buick, and they may possibly buy the truck back.

Ever have the issue corrected?

Really?  For a body alignment issue that can be corrected?  Wow.

Got the box aligned on my 2019 at4, it had to be moved over half inch from drivers side to passenger side,  looks way better now, iam happy, just the brake squawk noise I get first few minutes when it’s cold , dealer said it’s normally operation , my 2014 didn’t nor did my 2007, 2005, 1999, or the 6 other GM trucks I’ve owned from the 80’s and 70’s,

So today i was at the locale dealership picking up some special order parts. I asked for the parts breakdown on the bed shims/bolts,the gal asked why ? I was in the service department yesterday for the bed alignment problem on my truck. Basically the service department manager told me your shit out of luck you drive it off the lot like that its on you. The parts gal said did you try the other dealer in town,i said ya that will be my next try. Then she started to look for any bulletins on it and guess what [#19-NA-257 ] Pickup Box Out of Alinment  Poped up. So i went back to the service writer and showed him the bulletin, he made a copy and said he would get back to me, so we will see how this turns out. So if your dealing with this BS problem on a 50,000 dollar truck get a copy of this  #19-NA-257   when you head in to the shop to get them to fix it.

Concerning th bed alignment.  It's a 1 hour job  did mine myself to avoid all the BS. Mine is a 2020 GMC Elevation.

There is a plastic guide pin in the front right corner.

Loosen  the six bed bolts until they are almost out. Leave them in so you don't  contact the cab with the bed. This fixes the horizontal  adjustment. You need shims for the vertical.

Left the front right corner  about an inch take a hacksaw blade just the blade and cut the plastic  guide pin on the top of the shim between the bed and shim..

Drop the bed ,move where  you want tighten it down. Done

Brake pad squeal is a common issue die to the materials used in modern brake pads. Especially ceramic brake pads.

My dealer knew right away how to fix it. Took it in today and problem solved. Tech said a bulletin came out about it last month.

What does your work order say specifically regarding work performed?

Just bought a 2020 Chevy LT Trailboss crew cab and the bed is misaligned exactly like yours. Appear that wasn’t on the quality control checklist. Did you get yours fixed?

Has anyone had any damage done to their truck getting the bed aligned?  Mine is in the shop now and I was told it has to get sent to their body shop.  I’m a little nervous about it.

So who all has had the repair done according to the TSB? Purchased a 2020 Silverado 2 weeks ago and was wondering why things looked off in the drivers side mirror. Lines don’t match up and if I stand behind the truck, the drivers side rear wheel sits in the fender well further than the passengers side rear does. When measuring, drivers side of bed appears to be about 3/4” higher than passengers side.

Took it to dealer this morning and have appt for next week. Also called the dealers body shop, they told me to bring it by and let them look at it. I feel more comfortable with the body shop working on it rather than someone in the service dept.

Just noticed this on my 2020 LTZ. Looks to be the same issue as many on here; driver’s side of bed is sunk in about 1/2” and also about 1/3” high of the “body line” on the cab.

I’m taking it in along with the TSB (thanks for finding this btw) tomorrow or next week. Will report back on how it all goes.

    • Why does Mobil Premium cost 90 cents a gallon more than Shell Premium when their regular offerings are but pennies apart?
    • Was all the way down to $3.69 a gallon but then jumped back to $3.99 just because for some reason.   Diesel floats between $4.80's to $5.10ish a gallon. I even saw Diesel #1 for $6.09 today but nobody in there right mind even buys that in the summer.
    • Mine just keeps lagging or getting stuck on the reverse camera. When I turn off the truck, get out, and close the door it will still stay on. It’s very intermittent and I would not be able to duplicate the issue.
    • I was checking out fuel prices at my farm fuel retailer at their pumps and yes the farm price is a bit lower than the non dyed fuel and was glad to see that the regular farm gas price has dropped a lot from what it had been but what blew me away was the price of diesel as the spread now compared to before the prices went up earlier in the year, diesel was actually slightly lower than gas which was a switch from the theme the last number of years. However that sure isn't the theme lately and definitely not right now. The prices I will post are not from that retailer but just looking at gasbuddy for the main city in this area and instead of posting the lowest price someone found I will list the higher price ( and that may not be the highest price, just whatever someone posted on gasbuddy ).   So regular gas and there are a lot of stations listing the same price for regular is 1.68 a liter, premium 2.00 a liter. Diesel 2.03 a liter for a top price I saw on diesel.   Figures out to 6.36 a us gallon Canadian funds for regular and 7.68 for diesel. With the US exchange rate it would be 4.58 us for regular and 5.53 for diesel.    Thought I would figure that out to get a picture of what it settles out like compared to various US prices and its about the same as the current price in Fairbanks AK as Anchorage tends to be lower. So yes, these would be the prices and higher along the way on the Alaska highway where they know they have a captured market !, for fuel prices for those beginning the long drive back to the lower 48   The problem is our Canadian dollar and going to the states that have the high prices, boy do we pay then !
    • Just wanted to get a idea of how many of you still have problems with your radio cutting out during the first few minutes of driving, my 2024 GMC Sierra still does this after a little over 2 years of complaining to my dealer about it, and OTA updates no longer complete, the check for updates in settings is greyed out for the second time while trying to install a update, my dealer took about a week to play around with it the first time this happened, and somehow got the check for updates to work, even though it would always show system is up to date when I knew it wasn't, now again 1 month later its greyed out again when the OTA update N25-F163BU tried to install, which ironically is the update to help with reliability of future updates.
