Bolts in my bed

Does anybody have any clue what these bolts were for? They were in the bed when I bought this truck used.

They hold a whim wham for a water wheel.

Did you look underneath?

If nothing is under there refer to first sentence.

There is nothing under it just those 2 random bolts. lol

Obviously some Redneck Engineering for some reason....

I would remove them, seal up the holes from the underside and apply some new over the counter liner

liner to try and match what is there already. Or if you have the spare change laying around, line-x and other spray companies

have a "restore" process for a reasonable price that goes over your existing liner and makes it look like new. They can repair your holes if you have that done.

Judging by the third hole in the upper left of the picture I assume the last owner bolted something down in there. Maybe a tiny toolbox or antenna. not sure what exactly was in there but someone ripped the holes in there for it.
