98 5.7 4x4 pickup

I have no speedometer/rpm/shifter indicator light, no counter. all fuses good, under hood and dash. rest of cluster works fine. only other thing I noticed is when going from a stop feels like im towing something heavy. any suggestions would be great …..thank you

Clusters do fail, internally or power feed to it,behind it sometimes,and the towing part,do you think you are starting out in second gear?

I do have a spare truck, ill swap the cluster and see. yes it does feel like that, thanks for replying

when was the transmission fluid changed?

ok just switched out cluster..... not the problem, any other suggestions?

I'm suspicious of the speed sensor (often located on the transmission)
