2017 Fans staying on

2017 Silverado 1500 6.2. Weird issue, only seems to happen when in tow mode that i have noticed. Can be 5 miles or 30 miles, when i shut off truck in tow mode, that fans stay running for about 5 minutes. Anyone seen this ?

From the manual:

 

The electric engine cooling fans may run after the engine has been turned. off. This is normal and no service is required.

Thanks so much for posting that. I was going to take it in to dealer. Was just worried about battery drain.

Check your trans temp thru that dash menu before you shut it off an report back to us what it said with fans on after truck off.
