Painted z71 badging

Decided to paint the z71 badges on my Trail Boss LT since I'm getting away from the red accents.

I'm trying to remove the red accents as well and that badge was ominous in detail.

I ended up buying very small modeling paint brushes and black paint+clearcoat and meticulously painted for a few hours. I taped off the body paint and any accidental hits on the chrome badge I was able to scrape off with a small blade by using the backside. No big trick to it, just took a steady hand and some patience.

What did u put down in between the  Z to not get any paint on the white surface underneath.. that area seems very tight for painters tape... Im about to do the same and want to have idea of what you used.

That looks great! I like the red accents on my Satin Steel RST, so I would rather paint the chrome black on mine. Thanks for the tips!
