Transmission gauge

Can someone explain to me why the 2014 HD 3500 has a temperature gauge for the transmission but a 2019 doesn’t

It should be in the drivers information center in the cluster.

 

If you don't see it listed you should go the options menu I believe and you should be able to add it.

My 2019 AT4 has one. Keep looking.

If you have the digital gauge it shows up when you put it in tow haul mode on furthest right gauge

Otherwise it is in the options when you scroll through (baring you have it selected)

A 3500 is a heavy duty truck meant to work and trans temp is important. 

 

A 1500 is a light duty truck and 99% of the time won't be worked hard enough the trans temp will ever matter.
