Brake Pad Life Indicator

Anyone else seeing their brake pad indicator showing excessive wear? I only have 3,600 mi on the truck and front is 48% on the front and 70% rear. I’m fairly aggressive but something has to be out of whack. According to the computer I’m on pace to replace fronts at 7k and rears at 15k. Truck is 2019 trail boss lt crew.

Guys, just got back from the dealer for ABS service issue, they flashed the truck for this and the same software upgrade fix the pad life issue for now.

My two cent is you guys should go to the dealer and get that software upgrade done. It might prevent the brake issue many have experienced.

I was stopped at traffic light and the brake pedal started strobing like the abs was activated.the service light came on with a message to service ABS system.while they flashed the computer they triggered another electric brake assist default.

They run three time the flash to fix it

My abs does that all the time. I showed the tech and they say nothings wrong because there’s not light. It’s soo annoying. There’s a flash or tsb for this? I would love for it to stop doing it

The light went off the next day and i didn’t felt the pedal doing it again nor the annoying sound but they still flashed it

Lol. I’m going to take the tsb to the dealership the next time I’m there and ask them to perform this flash. So glad to see this. Hopefully they don’t give me a hard time

Set my appointment up today over the phone. I needed an oil change so I figured kill two birds with one stone. I actually had my abs light flicker on and off real quick on my way in to work this morning. It didn’t stay on and no messages displayed which was weird. Anyway, I told them about the recalibration/service bulletin. They said sounds good, bring in the tsb# and we will take a look. Hopefully, they update everything and all is good. Thanks again for posting the picture. Even if it was in French. Lol

My pleasure if it can help. Even if the light is not on anymore it’s in memory in the trucks computer. When they scan it ,it will come up.

Really hope it fixes your issue keep us posted on the result.
