AC Delco Condenser.

New AC Delco Compressor (15-63889 )  has metal plug with C clamp where the receiver, drier normally goes and the plug won’t come out.  

   

Anyone know if the Receiver drier  is factory installed on this condenser

Should be in there.  OEM come with it, the AC Delco Professional line (the one you got) should too.

GM pretty much said go pound sand.   Your out of warranty at 48k miles.

As far as the snap ring goes, your best bet is a pair of snap ring pliers.

the new condenser comes with the receiver dryer as part of it.
