Rocker Panel Finish

I’ve had my truck for about a week and noticed the rocker panel has some type of orange peal coating finish that runs the side of the cab. Looks like some type of chip guard. Anyone else’s the same?

On all of the 14 - 18's, kind of like a factory "undercoating protection" for the paint.

Should be on the cab, and on the bed.
