Trailboss tire pressure sensor

Anyone have any problems? Driving to work today psi sensor comes on back left tire. Sat at work for 12hrs never went lower. I added air to see if that would take the light off the dash or warning. Didn't do it . Do I have to have the dealer take this off or is there a trick? Thanks

I'm glad someone brought a tire pressure sensor issue up and maybe we can both get answers.

I haven't had the same issue you are stating, but maybe you have noticed the readings are not accurate? Mine seem to be off by about 4psi. The reading from two gauges do not match up to what the vehicle reads.

Not to concerned, and I keep an eye on it. Was going to bring it to my service center at first oil change but maybe sooner?

This is my fourth Silverado since 2014 and they all four have VERY INACCURATE tpms.

I have five vehicles with individual TPMS readout and I've never had an issue with any of them. Tire pressure is always within a pound of my Accutire digital tire pressure gauge. Only two are GM vehicles, and no problems ever with either one.

they can be off and not 100% accurate to the display

its just an RF signal sent to a receiver. tint, after market wheels, other things can interfere with the signal.

as far as the light coming on and you put air in it and it didnt change, well do you know for sure that the sensors positions are learned to the vehicle correctly?

meaning when they get rotated is the shop relearning them after? they need to be relearned every time. so you may be putting air in the left rear but the that may not be the left rear according to the vehicle.

Yes, my 2020 trail boss rear pass. TPS faulted 3 days after my purchase. I took it back to dealership and waited 5 hours for them to tell me they found no issue! I demanded they fix it or give me another truck. Then, They swapped rear tires and the rear drivers TPS faulted. I set up an appointment and they have had my truck for 3 business days with no update. I drove by and my truck is still in the lot around back. Bs
