Window sill chrome strips

Looking for some reviews on the aftermarket chrome window sills for a 2014 crew cab. I was thinking of buying a set from amazon and they stick on with 3m tape . Does anybody have some experience on putting them on in a video i saw it says to use adhesion  promotor ?

Just clean the sill with an alcohol based cleaner before you install, hit it with some brake clean and stick them on. 3M makes the world's best adhesives, no worries there.

I traded my black ones for chrome from an inmate here. Easy to change and you should find someone willing to swap over in the for sale section. Shipping was under $20.

I had installed TFP brand stainless steel window trim kit on my 2016 and in my opinion they looked better than the factory ones do on my 2018 and they where cheaper then the  Putco brand .

I tried to install the factory ones on my regular cab and they didn’t fit, apparently the door is different, I tried some of the stainless steel ones and they were ok but Im not big on stick on stuff, so I took them off.

I have them on my 15 double cab they fit good and no issues so far at 3 months. Bought them off amazon as well as a small    adhesion promoter pad.
