Ha! Dang.  I think that close up is too close of a close up!

Saw this video online they appear to be matte.. could just be dirty though. 6:15 minute mark.

Yes, matte black. Funny, I picked up my (close to identical) truck from that same dealer a little over a week after that video was released. Mine has regular mirrors tho.

I've got a 2020 CarbonPro AT4 with 3.0 diesel on order. Have it pretty well loaded. Decided on Satin Steel metallic since it is more of a dark gray than silver color. Considered white and black, but with the blacked out trim that comes on the CarbonPro I thought it had too much contrast with white and not enough with black. They all look pretty good though.

A couple minor things I'm still undecided though (order just went in and hasn't been picked up yet so I can still change it). I ordered the factory mud flaps, but not sure if they are worth it. Do most of you have the factory mud flaps? Are they big enough to do anything on the lifted AT4? How do they look? All the trucks I've looked at in person don't have them.

I also ordered the 20" carbon grey wheels that are available with the CarbonPro package. I love the way the 18 inch AT4 wheels with beefy Duratracs look, but I think they are too noisy for my use. The ones I test drove were noisy at low speed. I don't intend to do any heavy offroad work, worst case would probably be some muddy or rutted logging roads and snow, but 90% of driving will probably be on pavement so the 20" with quieter tires seem like a better choice. I like the carbon grey wheels too. When I see the beefy Duratracs though I get some second thoughts.  Think skipping the 18" Duratracs on an AT4 is a mistake?

Now I'm curious how long it may take to get built and delivered. I'm guessing 8 to 12 weeks, but who knows.

I got my order in on Nov 22/19 and I have a build date of Feb 3/20 ..  It appears to be different for everyone though as some people stated in the other thread they placed orders days/weeks after I did and for the most part all have build dates in jan. One guy placed his order Nov 13/19 and it was built on Dec 14/19. He received it Jan 3/20. So I guess once you have a build date roughly 2 weeks after that you'll probably get it

Matte Black exhaust tips showed up today!  So far, they appear to be direct bolt on from the Sierra Carbon AT4 to my Trail Boss.  I will put them on tomorrow and send pics...

I still am not sure what the coating is. Feels more like a gun barrel than a powder coat, but a bit more chalky...  At least they are black! Ordered them without a picture and description was F Sleeve. ?

Thanks man! I really like them. Now it is time to replace the badging. I saw black silverado custom badging online....

Yeah. They are tough. I have a stubby 3/8" ratchet that I ended up using with the standard 10mm socket. I would guess that a 1/4" would be about the same. I tried knuckles and extensions, but for how I could fit in the openings, that is what worked best.

LOVE the look! I so want to black out my AT4... The Sierra on the tail, all 3 AT4 badges and the tips... Need to use some gift cards I guess as everything seems to be $100 each. lol... For the tips though I think I am going to remove the factory ones and just plasti dip them...

I have the grey carbon pro wheels and think they look awesome and the tires look decent too. I thought I would regret not getting the 18s but super happy with the 20s so far.

Your not missing anything by getting the 20’s.  I also wanted to get the 18’s. Thought they looked great with the duratracs and still do. Dealership had a carbon pro come in with the 18’s on it so I was excited to buy the truck and get the rims and tires I wanted.

After owning the truck for a month, wish I had the 20’s. It’s not that the noise is that bad at low speed, but more than I am use to. Don’t seem to notice it too much on the interstate. Plus while driving on wet pavement, I am continually wondering if the traction is going to be as good as a more conventional tread pattern. So far, no problems but can’t stop thinking about it.

Thanks for the opinion. That's pretty much what I thought after I test drove one with the Duratracs. I love the look, but they are a little noisy. I figure for my use which is majority on pavement the 20s make more sense.

How do you like the truck? Anything you'd change? Do you need a rubber bed mat with the carbon bed to keep things from sliding around?
