Adaptive cruise control upgrade

 So the 2020 At4 now have Adaptive cruise control. Is this just a software update we can get to update our 2019.

Can't do just a software upgrade......requires additional hardware installation, e.g. cameras and front radar system

ACC is camera based.  No radar involved.

Theres a thread on this recently. Its a costly update. No radar involved.

its doable but its a huge job, different camera, adding a few modules, steering wheel change, cluster programming, bcm programming etc. Doable but pretty expensive

I got a 2019 GMC Sierra Denali and I'm pissed that it doesn't have the ACC.. I wonder how much it would cost the dealer to add it to my truck.

Since the last gen of trucks came out in 14. GM has taken the stance that if the truck did not originally come with the options. You can't go back and add them. Like the trailer brake control and 110V power outlet to name a few. That said there are people that have figured the way to add some things back but, GM or your dealer will not do it for you.
