Surround Vision Activation

I've had my 2019 HC for a little over a month now.  It has the Tech 2 / Safety package with the 360 surround vision cameras.  The other day I was forced to pull into a tight parking space (the only one available).  When I went to my display to activate my cameras to help parking, I noticed that the camera was already on and displaying.  It hasn't done that since then.

 

Was this a glitch or is the truck smart enough to know and activate the camera?  Is there a setting for this?  I love it and want it to turn on all the time!

Once your close to something and your parking sensors start going off, your camera will automatically activate to show you what yours close to

I got an update to the infotainment software a few months ago, and now, if my camera is already on (manually because I know Im getting close to something) and the parking sensor becomes triggered, the camera feed goes away for a moment which startles me into hitting the brakes.  Anyone else noticed this?
