5k miles! Sounds like I'm lucky mine lasted this long (6 months, 14k miles). My issue is that it's my daily driver & I can't just leave it sitting on stands. So I'm thinking of having it rebuilt locally. Planning to have that conversation with ICON today to see if they'll honor it. I'm between NYC and Philly, so I figured there's got to be somebody who'd be willing to do the rebuild. Do you know anybody?

Do you have your stock struts..?  I put a leveling kit on mine to get by till next week..  I can loan you it to help you out.

My icons are in perfect shape, no leaks.  I just didn't like the ride at 3 inch lift. So I called about revalving them and the tech said an upgrade also will help...i went right with his idea.

I still have my stock struts. I'm trying to minimize my down time, so I asked ICON to ship me the parts for the rebuild & found a shop in the Philly area to do the re-build. Also found a race suspension shop out on Long Island, NY & this sort of work looks like their bread and butter.

Unfortunately, I don't have the tools or space (or experience) to perform this work, otherwise I would totally take the time to tackle it.

I had also asked ICON if they would sell just the shock (without the spring) & they weren't up for it. I was thinking of keeping a spare shock & swap out the spring for these sort of situations. They double checked and with a modification the passenger side can be used on the driver side. However, they will only sell the complete coilover for $800.

Thank you for the offer!

Make sure that shop you pick icon is ok with it so you don't void their so called warranty.   Driver n passenger should be the same shock. To sell it without the spring is prob not worth it anyway,  it's a regular eibach and probably an 80.00 spring.

Coilovers came back, the added cdcv reservoir is really nice. The control arms with delta joint are way nicer than the rc arms. I adjusted it to 3 inch and put a 2 inch rear block.  I ordered rear 2.5 reservoir with cdcv.  It will now be a stage 4 complete kit. Removed the license plate and added the trail boss gloss black grill.

Black exhaust tips installed today, pretty easy to do. Remove the plastic steps in the corners of the bumper and you can get in with a ratchet.  Smoked license plate cover, color matched tailgate handle cover( hard to tell in the pic).

Rear icon dynamics 2.5 cdcv reservoir shocks. These on #3 seem to soak up anything u can hit..lol.  After they are too stiff. I run the fronts on #2 seem to work perfect, firmer than stock but not too stiff.

Very nice.

Do you happen to have the link where you found the pillar covers?

TIA.

The interior needed a few upgrades, I added a high country cluster from wams and a ltz steering wheel. Added a wire from the cluster connector to the clock spring ( harness dr) and now the stereo/phone wheel buttons work. Also changed the stereo bezel to match the steering wheel.

I did the clazzio leather heated seat kit, they fit super nice and as you sit in em more they fit better as you can tighten them. This is when I 1st installed them.

With the high country headlights and the factory fog lights they are too much in the dense fog. So I changed the fogs to diode dynamics yellow cube lights, perfect fit..! These are the sport series, they work awesome....well worth the change.
