GM 2" lift installed

Getting mine installed, dropped the truck off just an hour or so ago. Dealer agreed to install the level at the same time so hopefully all goes smoothly. Not gonna be able to pick it up until Monday but I’ll post some pictures when I get it back.

what about using Eibach springs on GM kit…seeing how they give lil extra lift over stock springs on Eibach kit (think its about 1in , and both springs fit Eibach and stock springs fit rancho I bet they probably would fit on ranchos too.......$162 for springs and $130 for pucks and more depending...hmmm, interesting...

Nice, looks good! Are gonna level it? I’m curious if they would install the lift with just a 1” rear block instead of the 2”...my stock LTZ Z71 has about 1.25” rake, which I think looks pretty sweet...just want a little more height all around.

Noticed most are going with the RC 1.5" level.  Then again, I don't even have a Trail Boss so this may never happen.  But WHEN it does, like others have questioned, I'd rather drop the back end than raise the front.  Anyone gone through or had luck with the 1" block in the back?  If so, where/what brand did you purchase? For those with the RC level, any noticeable hits on MPGs...?....I know, I know, we don't buy trucks for the gas mileage but you better believe I want eek out as much efficiency as I can on something that costs $55k.

I have a 2019 and my local dealer is telling me that because it doesn’t show up for my VIN they won’t do the install.

Anyone ran into this and have advice for work around?

I know I could go elsewhere for install but the whole purpose of the OEM kit is to retain warranty.

What truck do you have specifically?

That's my bad.  Was typing from mobile.

2019 High Country - Crew Cab 5.3 4X4

The GM 2" kit should be compatible with that truck unless it has composite rear leaf springs (and I doubt it does).  Have you checked for yourself?

Is your dealer saying the kit is shown as incompatible when they check it against your VIN or are they saying your VIN doesn't show a kit installed?  I doubt they couldn't be dumb enough for the latter to be true, but you never know with dealers.

even if someone else installs it the warranty is still good, you don't have to have a dealer do it.....but i think they need to do calibrations

Does it have the Max Tow package?

I would not risk that. That's why I chose this lift.

I meant you don't have to have a dealer install GM lift to maintain warranty,

I picked up mine today after lift and headliner install. Very happy with the lift. Not happy they didn't give me the parts they swapped out. Anyone else have this issue?

I asked them prior to going to pick mine up that I wanted all the take-off parts.  They left them in the bed along with the original tires.
