So apparently when my truck was at the dealer the tech “Angel” connected his phone to my truck. I went through the screen and removed his phone but it’s still showing up on the home screen. Any ideas how to get if off of here?

Thanks in advance! e9837e64ae45515a198a8e2e13a5ea2d.jpg

So strange, glad I’m not the only one experiencing this - although I’m sorry you are too haha

Hopefully someone who’s figured it out will chime in here soon.

Maybe this will help. When we bought our 2017 Malibu new it came from a different state and it had someone's phone in the radio this is how I had to remove it.     https://my.chevrolet.com/how-to-support/entertainment-connections/bluetooth-smartphones-wifi/bluetooth-delete-reconnect-phone

I am thinking that phone you want to delete is the last one connected by USB. Go into your phone settings and make sure it shows only the Phones you want to keep. Then connect one of the phones you want to keep via USB, then it should replace the one you want to get rid of.

My daughters phone has been deleted from my system but still shows up like above. It seems as if the USB connected phones never disappear. I've deleted it from everywhere but it still shows up. I suppose a factory reset on the unit would get rid of it but I haven't tried as its not that important.

Soooo I found a way to get rid of it. Its not the most conventional solution but it works. I took my old iphone and plugged it in to the radio. Then I took another device and logged into mu itunes account on it. then I plugged it in, the result is 3 devices with my name rather then the name of the previous person in the truck. hope this helps. It has made it a lot nicer for me anyway.

If you tap on the More>, then select anything that isn't showing of the three things in that column, it will then be the top item in that column. Do that 3 times and the top will be bumped off the display column. Then go back again for the things you do want to be displayed.

I have no clue if angel will be in the More> window or not. I think you will have to plug in a usb device into that port to clear angel.
