Red highcountry

6.2 mpg and 1/8 track time.

Decent fuel mileage for 6.2 this was with down town driving with several red light's, running as fast as 75 mph with cruise control on. Also best 1/8 time with slip.

Nice. Looks like it should be 13.6/7 for a 1/4 mile as long as the governor doesn't hurt you. Surprised i have not seen any performance threads on these new 6.2 trucks. I have been wondering what kind of time they would put down.

Wasnt sure which tire set up you had. Some have tires rated lower and so the governor is only 98 mph. Mine goes to 114 too.

It all depends on the tire speed rating that truck was born with.

I would love to see this thread blow up with 6.2 times. I should go run mine.

That’s one hell of a 60 ft time.  My 13.08 second all wheel drive TrailblazerSS never 60 footed that good.

I assume this is a top gear limiter like in other vehicles?  In other words, 112 mph in 10th gear.  So you could downshift and go faster (at least that is how it worked in the 5th Gen Camaros).  Thus it also wouldn't affect 1/4 mile.

That is interesting. I have never heard off that. I kinda doubt it because anytime i have hit a limiter it has not been in top gear. Its restricted based on tire ratings so i don't think the gear has any role in the limiter. On a camaro that could he completely different since the tires are probably rated for more than the car will do.
