This seems to be an excellent text concerning everything since hrc schemed to connive the white house and destroy the Republic so long ago.

Keep on with what you're doing/saying.

Not surprising, but demented shameless libs have found a way to work COVID-19 and Trump derangement into even this day of remembrance. These people are sick.

If an asteroid hit tomorrow, they would find a way to blame Trump. Don’t forget, he also got blamed for Iran shooting down a commercial airliner.

It's easy to put the blame on someone else when you aren't doing a blamed thing.

Vote for America!

Or else.

You've read and prayed Matt 6:10 often I'm sure. Second line in the "Lords Prayer".

Did you not already choose?

Matt 6:13, for sure.

No doubt what the outcome will be this time.  The quiet ones will go out to the polls, chinabug or not.

I wouldn't miss it for the world, no matter how long it takes to make my mark.

You know that is not what that means. I'm disappointed George. You were my last reason to even look at this thread.

The Devil is the devil....these people are just men.

However 1 John 5:19 would be relevant.

Certainly explains allot me thinks.

The "evil one" in both cited passages remains the "evil one" and there's no doubt who that is, regardless of one's "religious" interpretation.  he still has his minions in many different guises.

By their deeds shall ye know them.

Sarcasm is your answer?

Let's see how you deal with reality.

Tell ya what sport. It didn't take a Corona Virus to get me replaced at age 55 by three guys willing to work for 1/3 the wages. That took just good old fashion American Greed. Didn't take a Corona Virus to waste the 401K of 90% of the nations ready to retire in 08.  Didn't take a virus to liquidate the pension systems of most my generation and our fathers.  A virus didn't steal the Social Security system from those whose lives depended upon it.  A virus didn't deflate the dollar 40% over 50 years.  A virus didn't lie to us about how that 401K built on 10% over a lifetime would need a 50% infusion at age 50 to make up for the economy and still fall short of the mark by 2/3 due to market crashes one after another and one too many Enron's. It didn't lie to us about the 'stay the course'. Nor did a virus lie about the way taxes would be made on those accounts. A virus didn't prop up the economy with infusions of workers savings. A virus didn't take away a workers ability to control his own 401K. Greed of those that operating insurance did the for ya.

A virus didn't put my father on $750 a month in SS benefits and lobby to liquidate his pension and break his union. A virus didn't feel sorry for either of us when the offered to hire us back at 20 cents on the dollar with no insurance nor access to a company 401K. A virus didn't charge a thousand dollars a day for a drug to a terminal patient that cost them $10. A virus isn't price gouging PPE and it sure isn't leaving food in the fields or hogs in the lots. Packers aren't shut down due to the virus. Their shut down because they have people working knee deep in entrails and blood spitting distance from each other 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Greed.

A virus is just a virus.

This one takes lives. People , institutions and greed take your means of living it or passing it on.

The virus just accelerated what's been going on since 1929.

China has nothing to do with it.

They took nothing. It was given away wholesale.

IF the Government moves to slow, you whine. If they move to fast, you whine. IF they filter the truth you whine. If they give it to ya straight you whine.

The only common denominator is YOU.

What YOU want.

You don't want to survive. You want to thrive....at a cost of others lives.

You believe you have a Constitutional right to it.

Know what that is a definition of?

Greed.

With all due respect, you put to much faith in the system. My parents did and got wiped out as soon as the market crashed. They rebuilt their lives, invested in real estate, never in the market my father used to say, only real estate. My father came from the old country, where socialism currently takes control of everyday spending, controlling of daily lives. Here in America my fathers work ethics thrived, self employed, saving his money and not in 401’s, buying property 30 yrs ago for $130K, now worth multiple millions. You’re definitely right about Greed but now one is more Greedy than Government. No where in the Constitution does it ever bring up taxation. Government is the Greediest of all!

The “China Virus” as it’s really known for, is without a doubt a China made Virus that’s somehow escaped out of a Chinese military lab, covered up but worthless “who” and if it wasn’t for President Trump, we’d all be in a world of financial disaster! You stand wearing a mask, sit without a mask like it’s going to make a freaking difference being one foot taller or shorter in height, BS! Masks DO NOT protect you from viruses, not even N95’s but forcing people to comply to these ridiculous demands is ludicrous. It’s proven that forcing someone to cover their faces is a form of control, hence the Muslim culture, forcing women to wear face coverings is a form of slavery! Notice Fauci? Has been spotted in multiple occasions, even at stadiums along with his booty buddy Bill Gates that wants to implant chips into ever human being on the planet as well said getting rid of half the population on the planet will be a good thing, yeah and NOT wearing a mask, only when doing press releases.

There have been far more deaths with other viruses and yet no requirements to wear masks, coincidence now that the Democrats are becoming more socialist? Bingo!

Apparently, Texans are much more easily aggressive towards those that attempt to control “We The People” maybe this is why it’s the #1 thriving State in the USA. Quite possible the #1 reason more people are relocating to Texas than anywhere else.

China/Corona Virus is lab created.
Greed, it’s everywhere, literally, even in Internet forum.

How can you not get the fact the mask isn't to protect YOU?

For the simple among us. How far can you spit?

How far with a mask?

Pretty simple stuff.

Simple, I’m not sick, nor do I spit or sneeze! Sick people should wear them, NOT HEALTHY PEOPLE, choice to wear, Capeesh! I’m surrounded by people everyday, I’ve never gotten sick (except for that one day when I ate to much pie). If you’ve got a weak immune system, common sense should take over and be worn even without China Virus.

So your saying people should know the outcome before they experience the outcome.

Well this would be true only if you had a reliable predecessor or guide.

Ya don't know what ya don't know!

Sadly, for most of us the experience is the teacher

Some lessons take to long to learn to be useful with out a guide.

Now about 'reliable guides'.

These are suppose to be your

Parents

Teachers

Police

Elected officials

Priest

Grownups

Some of them lie out of ignorance and some with criminal intent.

You can figure out which is which as your passing judgement on the majority.

It's poor form to judge the ignorant for their ignorance.

Save it for the stupid

    • My 2025 Silverado 1500 had to receive a brand-new engine (long block) under warranty last month at only around 16,500 miles. Before the replacement, the truck repeatedly displayed "Engine Oil Level Low" warnings, even though the Oil Life Monitor still showed around 50% remaining after about 6,000 miles since my last oil change. After seeing the warning several times, I checked the dipstick with the engine cold, and the oil level was completely normal. The next day, the message escalated to "Add Engine Oil." At first, I assumed it was just a faulty oil level sensor, so I brought the truck to the dealership. After inspecting the engine, they found internal cylinder wall scoring and ultimately replaced the entire long block under warranty. Before this happened, I was planning to install a 4-inch lift and suspension upgrade on my truck. After needing a new engine at just 16,500 miles, I honestly don't see the point anymore. I also contacted GM to ask whether my vehicle qualified for a buyback, but I was informed that it does not at this time. Anyway, this experience has left me with serious concerns about the long-term reliability of this engine. I sincerely hope NHTSA expands the current investigation or recall to include 2025 model and performs a thorough inspection of affected vehicles. My biggest concern is that these engines may fail shortly after the powertrain warranty expires. If GM truly stands behind this engine, then at the very least, please consider extending the powertrain warranty to 10 years for affected owners. That would go a long way toward restoring customer confidence.
    • Without exception but then I'm the odd duck, right? I know what goes into that test, how it is calculated and thus how to beat it. But EPA values are often not beaten by the general public and the government has in past years adjusted the means and methods to come to those values to more closely approximate "Joe Average".    The only real trick to beating that EPA average is don't drive like "Joe Average".    It's the same method you used to profit from "Economic Migration" and in doing so beat the 'stats'. But you, like me, are not "Joe Average".     The thing you don't seem to grasp is this "Purchasing Power Index" isn't forward looking. It doesn't predict what it going to be but looks backward and states what it was. They are not telling us what the THINK, they are telling us what they MEASURED. Example:    Wife says "I'm going to lose 40 pounds by Christmas". May she does, maybe she doesn't but the doctors office who weighed her when she made that statement and again at Christmas only REPORTS what the RESULT was. You and I can banter about what was possible and what aunt Tilly did till the cows come home but the result is the result. Arguing otherwise is.....irrational. That's all I'm saying. This isn't about:      What you are calling a 'Statistic' is a RESULT not a CALCUATION and as a result the RULE. Like gravity as a rule, it can not be broken.
    • Just wanted to say thank you for posting this. Years later, your thread is still helping Silverado owners.   I bought my 2025 Silverado 1500 in January 2025, and I've had what feels like the exact same rattle since day one. After reading your findings, I believe my truck has the same issue with the cable carrier contacting the rear sliding window. To be honest, I had pretty much given up on pursuing the issue. It wasn't until I recently drove another brand's pickup that I realized just how quiet their cabin was—and how noisy mine has been all along. On my truck, the rattle happens on almost any paved road, gets even worse on rougher pavement, and I can even hear it during braking and acceleration.   I actually referenced your thread when submitting my case to GM, hoping they'll recognize this as a recurring issue instead of treating it as an isolated incident. The reason I reached out to GM first is because my dealership told me they would need to keep the truck for at least two days just to diagnose the problem. I was concerned that even after two days, they still might not be able to identify the source of the rattle before giving the truck back to me. I had also asked a few dealerships about this issue during previous service visits, but none of them seemed to know what was causing it or had a solution. That's why I decided to contact GM directly first, hoping they might already have an official repair procedure or guidance for this issue.   I also hope GM eventually comes up with an official fix for this problem. I have a feeling there are many Silverado owners experiencing the same rattle, but most either choose to live with it or simply don't know what the cause is.   Really appreciate you taking the time to document your diagnosis. Your post is still making a difference years later.
    • I have 2 choices.
    • Do you have access to BP fuels? Some stations have Silver 91 E-0 priced the same as their 93 E-10.  There is a local Marathon with 90 alky free for $6 a gallon but I go down the road to BP for $5-ish. They also have a 100 E-0 but that stuff is $10 a pop.
