What positions are those?  Socialist, semi-communist Socialist?  I have to admit because I do follow both sides just not your FOLLOWING BLIND TYPE.  I have never seen a worse Party and gaggle of individuals to choose from EVER...I am not joking at all.  I don't know how a honest Person even a Democrat can or would vote for either candidate.

If you’d been following the whole thread you know where I stand. Definitely not ( a blind Type). The only way this would be suggested by the media for real or anyone else is if there was a Democrat president. If you been awake for last almost 4 years. You would know everything but the kitchen sink has been used to try to get rid of this president. I believe most of the hysteria with this pandemic is the same. To back up my claim, look no father then H1-N1.

I might add being you seem to miss the point of the joke. This would give Trump 9 years not 8. With his re election.[emoji41]

I give an example of what I’ve been doing taking supplies to my elderly parents. I have gloves. I pickup supplies take them to my parents. I use hand sanitizer leaving the store. Put gloves on before entering the house. I put products in the sink hit them with bleach. My mother keeps her distance and wipes down everything I touch even though I’m wearing gloves. You can wear masks also to protect them. Wouldn’t that be easier than shutting down the whole country? You don’t even have to enter the store they all have curb pickup now. I realize they want to flatten the peak. Doing that prolongs the out break. It be easier to isolate the vulnerable.

I agree with caution.

But the panic has cost us a $30 K loss on investments.

Just saying.

Good to hear. My wife and I are also exercising an elevated state of cleanliness and preparedness. We are also fans of gloves.  This thread can be useful for members when we share experiences but all of the pollical jabs are counterproductive, imo.  I was about to add a recipe for hand sanitizer but this thread often digresses to be more of a political venting opportunity.  I speak regularly to family in other parts of the world and their concerns are all centred around the health of themselves and their neighbours. We spoke yesterday to family in Norway and the focus on eliminating this threat was razor sharp.  Absolutely no hint about politics or conspiracy, just talk about dealing with the issue.  This is a far larger problem than the impact on the vulnerable.  The impact on the health care system puts the healthy at great risk.  This hit home for me on Friday when my wife needed to see a doctor for a totally unrelated, single issue, concern.  The fact that she disclosed she was nursing mild cold symptoms when making an appointment has her at home waiting to see if her concern gets better on its own.  Of course, she can still receive attention but the accessibility of health care as we once enjoyed has tightened and will get worse before it gets better.

Ouch!  I'm hearing some pretty high numbers from retired friends.  I

Our losses were lower because of the way our investments are managed.

We had a meeting yesterday with our broker and this is the time to buy stock while its down.

Wait it out.

I think this thread is great, people need a place to vent right now, even if you think the virus is from aliens, lets hear about, everyone has many thoughts racing thru their head right now.

Some need laughter, some need seriousness, some need science, some need religion.

    • So you're saying toss the baby out with the bathwater? @txab posted article was her take on how AI can be used to manipulate pricing as it already does and has been rebuked by the judiciasry in housing. How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.
    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
