I have a 2018 Silverado 1500 and getting in to go to work my battery was dead. I jumped it, but now my back up camera will not turn off. Anyone have any info on this or know what might be the cause and how to resolve it? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site.

Replace your battery, this is just one of many electrical gremlins you will experience with a battery failing.

This happened to my 2018.

Backed up out of the driveway and it stayed on .

It finally went back to normal. Did it again so I took it in. They changed a connection in the reverse light by the taillights. Good to go.

I was going to mention that you have had this problem, and had it fixed, but the damn site has been down.

Almost jumped camp, and joined "those other GM guys".....
