2014 GMC 1500 torque converter noise

Just had a factory new tranny put in my Sierra.

The torque converter is fairly noisy.....is this normal?  Thought it would quiet up with the new tranny, but seems to be about the same.  Maybe that's just the way these truck are?

Heck no. Return not so happy. Verify the bad tq via local shops if need be.

Maybe they didn't put a new one in there?  How would you know?   I don't trust GM anymore.  Period...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think your going to hear the torque converter at all, unless it's failed. In which case you wouldn't be able to drive it and the dash would be lit up like a Christmas tree. What your hearing is the transmission. Aside from hearing/feel it unlock or lockup.
