Greetings fellow members. I’ve just been informed my truck that was ordered at the end of February is now at event code 4000. Does anybody have any experience how long it takes to reach the dealer from this point on?

You're now subject to the whims of the railroad....

....and the trucking industry that gets it from the railyard to the dealer...

I was in the same position a couple of months ago. I put my deposit down on a Wednesday and they said they should have the truck by Saturday. An extra week and a half later they finally got it!

What area of Maine?  What did you order?

Greater Portland area. I ordered a 1500 LTZ Crew Cab short box with the 6.2. I’ve been updated to event code 4200 today. Truck is in transit. My salesman told me it should arrive in 2-3 weeks.

Nice choice. I have a 20 TB with the 6.2. Love it.

I am in central Maine.

I put a deposit down going on three weeks ago on a 2500HD. It was status code 4000 at the time. I live in Florida and as of today it is still in Flint Mi and code 4000. Any suggestions or words of wisdom for when it should ship?  Maybe someone else has felt with similar situation. Thank you

'Patience, grasshopper.'

Event code updating to the outside world is never the best.  Partially because that's not what it was created for...

When the majority of vehicles were purchased from inventory sitting on lots, the way event codes update didn't matter much.

Once out of the plant, the event code updating is hit and miss.

Sometimes they are at the dealer before they show shipped.

...do you know when it was built?

So the last report dealer pulled up was 4300 event code and last milestone was , Bayed: 4B as of 02/08/2022 @0740 est. Build date was 11/09/2021.
