These look as good as any aftermarket option that i've seen.  I would really like to keep the red and only black out the chrome part.  I may be resorting to plastidip at this rate, but those look good.

Looks pretty sweet!   Whats the rest of the truck like?  Do they tie in?

Did you remove the old using the heat/fishing line method?

No I didn’t want to mess with taking off any emblems so I plasti dipped all chrome on my truck92a52828bf5dec65dd6038078747dafa.jpg

This last picture is the matte black letter inserts where it says Chevrolet I think it gave it the final touch

Ok, you did a great job!  That looks sick!!!    I like how you kept the red in the badging.

I have them.  I wish they were gloss black but still look better than chrome IMO.

For those who used plastic dip, anyone try to use the glossifier overspray???

Hey guys, so I changed the rear emblems and added the big logo in black, I also changed all the lugnuts for black, these subtle changes make a world of difference. Next are the z71 fender badges and front bow tie. I was leaning to black with red accents on both as I’m planning on painting the exhaust tips red to match the front hooks. Do you guys think its too much red and I should just go all black?

ALL BLACK!!!    While I do like the look of the black and red Z71 logo that people are doing, I don't think the red exhaust tips will look right because there is no red back there at all.

But I do like the pop of red with the recovery hooks on the front ....I added them to mine, but it's now the only red left on the truck, and I like it.

Btw....love the black lug nuts too!

Definitely black over red on the exhaust tips.  Don’t think they’d stay red long with the DFM exhaust.  Mine are semi gloss.

Almost forgot to post the "done" pics here.

Installed the badges over the weekend... very happy with the end result. After having these on for a few days now, I really like them over the original chrome ones. Adhesive seemed quality at time of install. Only time will tell on how it holds up.

As many said the factory adhesive is tough. Just keep heating it with a hair dryer (not a heat gun) and peel it back over itself into a ball. Then the Goof Off takes minimal effort to remove the rest. I prefer the Goof Off over the Goo Gone when debadging. I've never had the acetone damage the paint and it seems way more effective then the citrus based Goo Gone IMHO.

Looks great!! Just ordered these today as I did my tailgate "CHEVROLET" in black today with these....

Looks so much better!! Just need to do the rest of the chrome badges in black...looking at "Silverado" "LT" and "6.2L" right now.
