Well this weekend we went into the Boulder mountains in Utah and got to test her ability default_smile.png Didn't get an elk, but had a great weekend camping and listening to the elk bugling in the morning. Hubby has an H1 so he wanted to teach me a few things on flexing and slowly crawling up rocks.

He guided me up the rock, and while the pictures might not do it justice it was a little scary putting my new truck into that position LOL! Jumping out to take the pictures wasn't easy, and climbing back in without steps was even more of a challenge haha!

BUT! This trip so makes me want to put some more offroad-ish shocks and tires on her, it was so fun!14ed97ad72f3a88c6b93e733f20cb9e3.jpg2d248bac0a46686afb4cee01b6eb866f.jpgaf3d6cd22a9c616510faea857df62fd5.jpg1505d04f2949b2137988137776a1a804.jpg6a6d8894be643a40cccf720b28d97103.jpgcf70fe9c28dbcb742586a568b0a93c5b.jpg3171387f526c049623166eb8ff80796c.jpgd8ce7fc4d954a1e61f3c516ce26c5b96.jpge3cdb132e983647a2eed70e5e15d39b9.jpg

Interesting.  I've had mine flexed like that several times and it hasn't leaked.  I am assuming you believe the window shifts or flexes when the frame stressed, resulting in eventual improper sealing?

Tried to do the same thing with my non-trailboss LT this weekend. Definitely more motivated to invest in a small lift now. Although, it still wasn't maxed out on articulation yet. Needed a bigger rock/hill.

There is no evidence body flex or what is seen in those pictures cause the window leak issue.

Mine is a pavement queen and has leaked three times. There are others that go off road like above and never leak.

Had it Colorado this last week, didn't take any pics with extreme flexing, but we spent several hours driving on mountain side trails, also confirmed you can hit 115mph, about 112mph the top speed cutoff starts kicking in, with momentum getting to the 115 mark. 1945 miles over 7 days, 5+ hours of trails, 50+ photo stops, hours of idling, lots of side road and highway driving i ended up at 17.6 mpg with the 6.2, quite happy with that.

I'm no offroader, but I'm guessing if you continued forward off that rock you could do some serious damage  to your rocker....   best to back off, yes?

Yes, anyone would be silly to try and go over that rock. This was just a flex pose. :)
