I don't have a pair of calipers that I can measure the OD of the exhaust pipe at the tip. I'm wanting to put a black tip on the exhaust (single side exit). Does anyone know what the OD of the pipe is?

At the tip, won't a ruler or tape measure work?

No, it is cut at an angle. No way to get an accurate dimension. The best way is a pair of calipers (which I don't have).

3" should work. I used a 3" to 4" transition when I changed the back half of my exhaust and its a strait run from the cat, minus the bends, to the stock exit location.

I take that back, I went and looked under my truck to be sure and I actually used a 2.75 to 3" then a 3 to 4" so I'd say it's actually 2.75" but a 3" will work if you weld it up
