Yea, but gonna have to wait another 12k miles here so the dealer doesn't have a heart attack when it comes in on warantee. Can't afford to upgrade the real way right now.

I read elsewhere that this power is only 2 thru 4th gear to save the Allison. First and fifth have the 300/520 power. The press release says nothing about this, so maybe I'm wrong.

My buddy just got his MAX dyno'd and he's getting 580rwhp/1200lbs.ft. torque rwtq...so their's lots of potential..

I already have far more torque than the new ones do with my good ol 2003 and Juice.I wonder what the stock trucks will run in the 1/4 mile.GM is making the fastest HD even faster.

Sounds like you can't get the new version with increased power if ordered with a ZF-6 Transmission. I don't understand that.

Mr. Jealousy? LOLOL YOU are going to be the one that's jealous of your neighbors newer and better diesel! To me, it's still just a diesel! I would rather have a gasser with crappy mileage and less power.

I've had my Dmax for a week and a half, and am not going to feel jealous of people who have the new engine. Sure, the new ones have 10 more ponies, and 70 more lb ft of torque. But when am I gonna notice the difference??? I will NEVER use this truck to its fullest potential, so I'll just enjoy what I got. Hauls my horses/sleds/jet-skis just as fast as I need.
