Today I received an email from Onstar Services with a monthly report on my truck. I get these just about every month although I stopped my Onstar service after my 3 months of free service. The report was interesting as they reported per below. All other information was correct for mileage, oil life, tire pressures, etc. And yes, I do have a Ranger AFM deactivator plugged into the OBD2 socket. I never realized that this device would keep them from accessing some of the trucks systems. Just thought I'd share.

I had one in my 2017 since new and never got anything like that. Every month I got the report as usual.

Yes there have been other reports of range doing this. You don't need to worry.

My 18 Tahoe had the same problem. I think 18+ it shares the same port the range is using in which onstar can’t communicate
